Ram Pride 2000

Lee is thinking - boy I'm glad I am not the one Tony is planting...

Anthony (8) burys defender as Leroy III (1) breaks to the outside on a QB sweep

Arrin don't take no mess...

Arrin (12) and Robert (32) squash the sweep attempt and drop a Saint for a loss

Hurricane Freddie headin' north

Freddie (33) turns upfield for a good run behind a kickout block by Robert (32)

Don't bring that mess out here!

Fausto (35) and Leroy III (1) double team a Saint receiver near the end zone

Where did this boy get these hands?

Arrin (12) makes a beautiful catch on the SG sideline - you can barely see the ball and his hands awaiting the pass - Sweet...

Wheels versus no wheels = no sweep capability - Go Arrin, Go Arrin

Arrin (12) dominates the outside and denies all sweep plays in the 1st half

From containing the outside, to snatching running backs on the inside - Arrin rules

Arrin (12) runs down a Saint from behind with blazing speed

Freddie the Headhunter finds game on the inside - CRUNCH!

Freddie (33) plows a Saint runner he found in his middle territory - ouch!

Lee knows it is 4th down and long - Don't intercept the ball... Ok, but I really want to get my interception...

Leroy III (1) denies the Saint big play by blocking the pass and giving the Rams the ball inside the Saint 25 yard line with 8 seconds on the clock

All this love for a pass I could have intercepted... Ok, Ram Pride!

The fellas show Leroy III (1) their appreciation for making the biggest play of the half...

Who blew that whistle and ruined my TD?

With 8 seconds left in the half, Anthony (8) stops in his tracks enroute to the game's first touchdown due to the referee blowing the play dead just after the snap. Reason? Norwalk's timekeeper started the clock after the Rams timeout - The clock does not run after a timeout until the ball is put into play.

No, the clock does not run after a timeout. Just like when your team took a timeout with 19 seconds to go, you didn't run the clock...

The Umpire scolds the Norwalk timekeeper for making a game altering mistake, when he ran out 8 seconds after a time out was taken...

The Norwalk timekeeper finds the situation amusing while he puts back 8 seconds on the clock..

As the 8 seconds are restored, the Norwalk timekeeper chuckles. The time can be put back, but the outcome of the play that was lost will never be replaced.

Ram Pride suffers a serious blow when Arrin goes down with a broken left arm

Arrin (12) tries to run back a kickoff and put some points on the board, but is tripped up and landed on his left shoulder, breaking his left arm at the shoulder. He now has a pin in the arm, and will become a spectator and junior coach for the rest of the season.

This one is for my cousin...

Leroy III (1) tries to put some fire back into the troops for Arrin, and picks off the pass at it's highest point...

Freddie comes to help and finds a loose ball that needs some running...

Freddie (33) runs over to help Leroy III (1) out, and winds up catching a loose ball and returns it deep into Saints territory.

I know coach is going to love this block - No Tresspassing!

Robert (32) drops a Saints rusher in his tracks to give Adonay (7) time to pass the football...

Hey Robert, that's a good block... But can you stand your man on his head?

Leroy III (1) gets into the good block race, and improves on Robert's block by standing his man on his head.

Coach said not to let anyone run around the outside...

Eduardo (99) does a great job of containing the outside with a great open field tackle

Anthony gets a sack and makes Coach a bit happier...
